Hmm.... while I absolutely adore this piece and the realistic take on it, I think that Kagome's face is far too European. In my mind's eye, she's a cute, small-nosed, asian-faced girl. In this, her face seems too long and her nose too German... Otherwise, it's simply gorgeous. I love the clear pattern detail you gave to each outfit in contrast with the blended coloring/shading of all the clothing folds. They play off of each other very well. And the stunning scene of the blooming cherry blossoms beyond shoji doors is quite the gem. And last, but not least.... I just LOVE your Sesshoumaru. He's magnificent.

Oh my! Till this comment I've completly forgot to submit newer version of the painting. Thank you for reminding me to resubmit this work. You may look this newer painting, in it Kagome is repainted, her face still isn't perfect but I'll probably never be able to paint finer characteristics of an asian face even with the help of some references.
