Insteed to crown his own wife, dornish princess Elia Martell, crown prince Rhaegar Targaryen put the crown of Queen of Love and Beauty to the lap of Lyanna Stark, daughter of North, and fiancee to powerfull lord Robert Baratheon. That action and later abduction of Lyanna led to tragic end, death of her elder brother and father and to total destruction of Hause Targaryen.
