A Price of Honor by nejna A Price of Honor by nejna
The white tears and the red ones ran together until her face was torn and tattered, the face that Ned had loved. Catelyn Stark raised her hands and watched the blood run down her long fingers, over her wrists, beneath the sleeves of her gown. Slow red worms crawled along her arms and under her clothes. It tickles. That made her laugh until she screamed.

George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire

EDITED 30.04.2007
Finally I've corrected all of the mistakes my watchers noticed on the first version, or at least that's what I hope for...

Details of it can be seen here

It was done with reference help of stock photos taken from:
Bolton (man in the pink) :iconcobweb-stock: [link]
Frey (man reaching for Catelyn) :iconjademacalla: [link]

There's the funny thing that happens when you use photos in your works - especially when you use several, each by different person and for different purpouse. The light just doesn't work - especially on their hands.
Which, by the way, seem VERY similar to ones in photos. Either you haven't redone them at all, or you've done it so precisely that the difference can't be told - which sure does you credit, but seems like work you could've saved.

Please, don't get me wrong, I don't mean to insult you (what's the point of fighting on the internets anyway?) and God knows I'm far from being great artist, so I have no right to judge, I'm just trying to give you a little advice. Syncing the lights and shadow would make the picture more...whole, if that makes any sense.
